Holiday Inn Ashford - North A20 by IHG

Excellent hotel just outside Ashford. Good parking and excellent disabled facilities. Breakfast was very good and staff very helpful.

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Warmest greeting and most helpful ever by Rachel on the front desk. Room was excellent clean and fresh. Breakfast was great (not rubber premier inn fried eggs) Evening meals superb, never had meals served up so fresh and hot! Staff all really helpful and genuinely engaging in conversation. Best ever hotel stay this at holiday inn ashford north. We stayed in 3 hotel chains over 5 nights. Travelodge Westwood cross 5/10 Premier inn Margate 4/10 Holiday inn ashford north 11/10 Will be booking here again whenever we have a few days leave due. Great hotel.

So the rooms are not up to date (furniture mostly) and might not have been changed since 20 years… but everything was made to enjoy our stay. Staff was friendly, lobby is cost and nicely decorated, easy to park. Even if the hotel is by the main road, windows are correctly isolated. One and only thing we would suggest to the hotel: bring a little bit more of diversity. Otherwise, had a great stay!

Superb value for money and extremely comfortable. Warm welcome at reception when we arrived and easy to park the car - lots of space. Breakfast was absolutely excellent - full range of continental and cooked options and the room was also nicely laid out so you didn't feel squashed in. The only downsides were that the gym is in the process of being refurbished it seems, and whilst the motorway looks very close on a map, it isn't actually that close to the junction! There also seemed to be a pub on site at some point, but this was closed and looking borderline derelict during our stay. I'd definitely use this place again for an overnight stay on the way to the channel tunnel.

We were there as a tour group. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were functional (the TV and bathroom fixtures were a bit dated). The beds are rather small. But the coffee was good. Breakfast and dinner were buffet-style; everything was delicious.

The BEST customer service I have EVER received!! Arrived in Ashford as a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) to find the Holiday inn we had booked to be closed. In a panic we drove to this Holiday inn to be greeted by Marta (the general manager) with nothing but kindness and understanding. She made us feel at ease in an extremely stressful situation and was able to find us a suitable room to accommodate us all. I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough based on the front desk service alone. Thank you Marta!

We used this as a stop off after a 14 hour drive from the French alps, and after a friendly welcome from Kat, we were settled in our room. It was well appointed, though suffering the all too common lack of USB points next to the beds. There was a decent hot drinks provision on the dressing table, and this had USB options behind. Despite it seeming busy, we were quickly accommodated downstairs in the restaurant for a quickly provided meal and drinks. Air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, and no external noise heard at anytime, The included Breakfast was perfectly fine, with hot options plentiful and well heated, and non dairy milk for cereal if needed. Bakes, fruit salad, cereal, and toasted options were available also. All staff worked hard to ensure our quick stay was very stress free, and enjoyable. Car park was busy on arrival, Mid Saturday evening, but there were still plenty of spaces. It's a wee drive to and from the M20, but feels miles away from the hustle and bustle, if that suits.

Very nice and cosy. Clean huge rooms.Breakfast superb. 100% will recommend.
